Alaian is a unique alliance between the 8 major global telecommunications companies (Bouygues Telecom, Cellnex, KPN, MTN, NOS, STC, Telefónica y WindTre) with the mission of reinventing the industry by discovering the most disruptive startups, and the potential to provide them with access to a network of 700 million customers in 50 countries.
The aim of these Calls is to find the most disruptive startups with the potential to change the telecommunication industry, and nurture them with tools, knowledge and access to exclusive technology supported by the biggest alliance of telecommunications companies in the world.
Companies selected to participate in this May 2023 Call was
- VROMBR is the 1st Remote Reality Racing 5G experience enabling races of real cars on real tracks from any mobile device in real time, anywhere in the world.
- BE-IN-G was born to accelerate the 5G adoption and monetization, providing a lightweight solution linking customer requirements with the infrastructure resources in a multi-domain/vendor environment.
- CINFO we develop user applications and high-performance system architectures for OTTs, Smart TV, digital TV, mobile apps, artificial vision systems, and video processing in the cloud. We use AI and data analytics to enhance video in real-time. We have products for synthetic video generation, recoding, live reception, and metadata processing.
- SIX3D is a social platform, multi-device and cloud-based, through which anyone can create, share and consume content in Virtual Reality, Augmented, 3d, 2d and Holographic.
- FIRECELL builds private 5G networks helping companies accelerate their digital transformation. Their mission is to democratise private 5G by making it as easy and affordable as WiFi. We package and offer turn-key network solutions including both hardware and software, ready to be installed at client’s premises.
- YBVR is a Silicon Valley technology start-up building the next generation of live immersive video experiences VR/360, unleashing the potential of immersive broadcasting disruption, by providing unparalleled immersive experiences to the sport fans and concerts fans connected from anywhere with any device: mobile, web or XR devices.
And we are very proud to announce that tiivii, our production system managed by Artificial Intelligence integrated with a state-of-the-art OTT multimedia platform, was selected as the best product of the six.
tiivii is a real 5G application; a unique system because:
- We operate PTZs cameras mixed with 8K panoramic cam, as well as mobile phones and other IP sources.
- We have 3 layers of Artificial Intelligence

- viewer expectation
- We have a “broadcaster grade” cloud mixer
tiivii was born with the aim of offering the best solution for the new way of producing and broadcasting events with quality that will arrive in the coming years:
- most of the sport productions, except major sport leagues, will introduce automated systems
- almost all national competition sports will be streamed (currently, less than 10%)
- regional brands will have access to a new content category and will finance new OTTs to serve their brands
