A Coruña, Wednesday 8th May 2019.- cinfo presents today its onboard multi-camera system for rescue teams on rescue missions, its artificial intelligence solutions, IoT and Big Data at the 4th edition of the Global Robot Expo, the international and professional fair of robotics, technology and innovation held annually in Madrid, which brings together the main experts and leading companies in the sector.
cinfo‘s Head of Intelligent Video, Omar Álvarez, will participate tomorrow as a speaker to explain how the orthorectification software of its onboard multicamera system works, improving the quality of the images and converting them into a cartographic map capable of faithfully reproducing the terrain, independently of the orography. THis is achieved by integrating an orthorectification tool that uses the location and orientation parameters of the aircraft and the camera to project an image on a 3D representation of the orthorectified terrain.
cinfo‘s on-board multi-camera system allows the acquisition, processing, recording and transmission of video from aircrafts -drones and helicopters- in mid-flight, thus making it possible to know at all times what is happening during a rescue mission. Recorded flights can also be viewed, either in multi-camera format or full screen, with overprinted metadata. The software also has a search engine that allows users to find any necessary information about any flight.
cinfo‘s solution is currently being used in the Civil UAVs Iniciative, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia for the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) in the civil field and in the improvement of public services, and whose objective is to turn Galicia into an aeronautical pole of reference in Europe.
During the two days of the GREX19, cinfo will occupy a permanent space in booth J9, from where it will also present its technological innovations of IoT and Big Data for the industry in terms of security, through intelligent video surveillance systems (heat maps and people count, license plate recognition …), access control and data or predictive analysis, as well as automatic production of video in the cloud.
