The first conference on technology and sports, promoted by the Fundación Deporte Galego, in collaboration with R and cinfo, arrives in Galicia on March the 21st. In the AC Palacio del Carmen experts in technology and a wide representation of Galician sport will meet to talk about innovation in the sports sector.
We will learn how the Internet of things, data analysis and Artificial Intelligence are opening new opportunities to generate income and entertainment models for sport fans.
We will have very interesting talks where we will be able to know the success cases of the R.C. Deportivo or the Monbus Obradoiro, professional panels on audiovisual rights of the sport not majority and on emerging technologies applied to the sport.
In addition, it will be a unique opportunity to enjoy a working lunch to network with other attendees throughout Galicia.
Success stories: R.C. Deportivo and Monbus Obradoiro
Gabriel Barros, Director of Communication at R.C.Deportivo da Coruña, will talk about the digital transformation applied to football and how Dépor uses new technologies to improve its management in all areas.
Gonzalo R. Palmeiro, Assitant Coach at Monbus Obradoiro, will give us the keys to the tools of sports analysis or scouting and how the Obra has improved the performance of the team and the possibilities given by Big Data and video technology to analyze the rival.
Non-majority sports audiovisual rights
Federal presidents and television experts will discuss at a professional panel the possibilities of sports broadcasts for amateurs and how to exploit and make visible minority sports through new television models on the Internet.
José Pereira Fariña, Director of Innovation and Business of CRTVG, and presidents of the Galician Federations of football, basketball, handball, canoeing and athletics.

Another of the professional panels will bring together experts and clubs to discuss the latest technologies applied to sport, management tools or how to generate new income with innovative technological solutions.
