The Rédux platform consists in monitoring people with certain cognitive impairment through an intelligent bracelet that they cannot remove themselves and that allows them to know their location in real time.
The customized IoT platform for the Red Cross by cinfo, and already in production, permanently informs the authorized personnel of the location of each user of the programme, allows the management of all the devices and of different types of alarms such as if the user moves too far from a previously defined area or if the bracelet is running out of battery, etc.
It also detects anomalies in user behaviour, triggering alarms if, for example, a user performs a strange activity or at an unusual time.
Initially planned for 300 users of the Red Cross programme, the project already has over 150 active users.
