What is Cinfo video platform?

A platform to create, run and deliver interactive TV channels based on synthetic video, in realtime. It moves the complexity of applications to the server side, keeping the client as light and simple as possible. Terminal devices that consume this kind of services only need a standard video decoder and the client application that sends commands back to the server.

The platform is highly optimized to enable massive generation of synthetic video streams at an affordable cost.

 

What do you need to test the demos?

You only need to install a small client application on your device that allows integration with any interactive services deployed on our platform.

On windows arquitectures, you can use this Windows installer (this installer contains 32-bit binaries, that should work perfectly both in 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows).

After installing the client, you can click on the demo links beneath to launch the player and get an unicast video session with the requested interactive service. If you associate the content-type to the installed player, it will launch automatically when you click on the link… Otherwise, the browser will download a text file containing a JSON object and clicking on it the video session should start.

 

Requirements:

- A clean, reasonably fast Internet connection (6Mbps or better)
- A Windows, Mac or Linux desktop and permissions to install software
- Outbound ports opened in firewalls for Internet access:

• Session establishement: TCP port 4158
• Ports negociated to receive video stream and session connection control: TCP port range 6000 – 65535

 

Demos limitations:

- Only a limited number of simultaneous connections (3) are allowed from external clients

Demos navigation keys:

• up/down arrow keys: change camera
• left/right arrow keys: move back/forward in timeline
• escape key: exit player

 

Demo environments:

- The available demos are deployed on the cloud in several zones and service hours to let the final users access in the best conditions.
